Louis Vuitton Opens a Spectacular Temporary Flagship in New York

A Singular Luxury Experience at the Heart of the City
The French House has inaugurated a spectacular temporary flagship on 57th Street while its iconic Fifth Avenue store undergoes renovation. The new space redefines luxury retail in the city that never sleeps.
While the original Fifth Avenue store remains wrapped in scaffolding adorned with the House’s emblematic monogram, the new 57th Street location presents itself as a dazzling and monumental fashion destination. This is no ordinary pop-up; it is a 3,345-square-meter space that sustains the energy of Billionaire’s Row with unmistakable authority.
Upon entering, visitors are greeted by four towering stacks of the iconic Courrier Lozine 90, rising 16 meters into the air. Designed by Shohei Shigematsu of OMA, the towers read as a contemporary architectural statement — clad entirely in the House’s signature Monogram canvas and Damier patterns.

The interiors are a masterclass in style and elegance — exposed concrete paired with sumptuous carpets and mid-century furnishings woven together with contemporary pieces. The space houses not only luxury goods but also works by New York legends Stephen Sprouse and Jeff Koons, conjuring an atmosphere that feels equal parts gallery and modern fairy tale.
Le Café Louis Vuitton marks the House’s first culinary venture on American soil. Here, chefs Arnaud Donckele and Maxime Frédéric collaborate to present a menu as considered as it is theatrical — from LV-stamped lobster ravioli to a reimagined burger that earns its place on any serious table. Le Chocolat Maxime Frédéric also makes its United States debut alongside the café, bringing a refined selection of chocolates to the rhythm of New York.
Louis Vuitton has launched an exclusive capsule collection drawn from the city’s irreducible energy. Pieces such as the Neverfull Inside Out in taxi yellow and a miniature Vivienne figure dressed in New York style make this collection a story worth telling — and a coveted addition to any discerning wardrobe.
In this new chapter for Louis Vuitton on 57th Street, the House has created a space that defies expectations and redefines what retail can be — proving that even the ephemeral, when executed with this level of ambition, can leave a permanent mark on Manhattan.
