With more than 90,000 square meters of commercial space and an economic impact exceeding 55 billion pesos in 2025, Expo Guadalajara is navigating a period of transformation that is redefining the role of major venues across Latin America.

The administration led by José Andrés Orendáin De Obeso is advancing a vision that integrates infrastructure, sustainability, and internationalization. A projected expansion of 25,000 additional square meters, coupled with new global partnerships and strategically positioned events, is strengthening Guadalajara’s standing within the international circuit of trade shows and congresses.

Between 2025 and 2026, eleven new exhibitions arrived at the venue and eleven congress bids were won.

The growth is equally evident in its operational figures: more than two million visitors and 17,000 exhibitors passed through the venue during the most recent period, confirming that the meetings industry remains one of the city’s most consequential economic engines.

17,337 exhibitors and 2,227,021 visitors — a 17.34% increase in attendance over the previous year.

Behind the numbers, however, lies a more compelling question: what happens when a venue ceases to function merely as an event host and begins to operate as a symbol of regional competitiveness?

Expo Guadalajara appears to be building that answer — through infrastructure, logistics, and an unmatched capacity to bring entire industries together under one roof.
