This August 29, Louis Vuitton presents La Beauté, its first makeup collection. Under the direction of Pat McGrath, a global authority in high fashion, the House introduces a proposition fluent in the languages of design, color, and history.

The launch opens with LV Rouge, a range of 55 satin and matte lipsticks. Each arrives in a case designed by Konstantin Grcic, whose closure evokes the precise click of the House’s iconic trunks. Completing the line are LV Baume, ten translucent balms, and LV Ombres, eight eyeshadow palettes in considered chromatic harmonies.

Each lipstick is priced at $160. The formula — enriched with shea butter and hyaluronic acid — delivers up to 12 hours of comfort. The gesture is completed by a floral fragrance — mimosa, jasmine, rose — developed by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud.

The most emblematic shade: 896 Monogram Rouge, a burnished red that fuses the House’s historic brown with the classic red of couture beauty.

Louis Vuitton does not improvise. In the nineteen-twenties, the House was crafting bespoke vanity cases for its finest perfumes. Today, that vision materializes in an entirely new territory.

“Makeup is a natural evolution for the brand, driven by our commitment to quality and innovation,” declares CEO Pietro Beccari.

Without disturbing its heritage, Louis Vuitton proposes another way of inhabiting beauty.
