The convergence of high-performance engineering and lifestyle finds its most compelling expression in Paris with the unveiling of the Beware of the Crocodile – Alpine Lacoste A290 Rallye. This one-of-a-kind electric prototype pays tribute to the legacies of René Lacoste and Jean Rédélé, functioning as a potent strategic showcase of design and market positioning.

Built on a modified rally platform, the vehicle is distinguished by its widened wheel arches and extensive use of forged carbon fiber. On the technical side, a 220-horsepower powertrain propels the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds, supported by a 52 kWh battery delivering a WLTP-rated range of up to 378 kilometers.

The sophistication of the alliance is most vivid in its aesthetic execution: a glacial blue exterior set against an intense red interior lined in Lacoste’s iconic petit piqué fabric. As a final mark of exclusivity, the model conceals 290 crocodile logos distributed across various elements — among them the steering wheel and rear spoiler. The concept will not enter commercial production, reaffirming the value of one-off editions as positioning assets and benchmarks of innovation in the luxury mobility industry.
