Manhattan, the city that never sleeps, is about to receive a culinary embassy from northern Mexico. At the heart of Rockefeller Center, inside the iconic Time & Life Building, Cuerno — the acclaimed restaurant from Grupo Costeño — is making its long-anticipated United States debut.

Already established in Guadalajara and Monterrey, Cuerno brings to New York a menu that honors northern Mexican tradition through a rigorously contemporary lens. The proposition is unambiguous: fire-finished meats, impeccably fresh seafood, vegetables with genuine character, and a cocktail program rooted in deeply Mexican ingredients.

The menu commands attention from the first pass. The Taco Richi — a bold composition of ribeye, chicharrón in salsa verde, cheese crust, and avocado — sits alongside Chamorro al horno in adobo regio, a Rib Eye with bone marrow in the northern style, and Pulpo a las brasas. Vegetable-forward options — among them Coliflor Trufa Habanero and a Hamachi Crudo with chile chiltepín — are designed to be shared and prepared entirely to order.

The experience extends naturally to the bar: cocktails such as the Cantamarita, Tamarindo con piquín, and an Espresso Martini with añejo tequila are complemented by Mexican wines and botanically driven non-alcoholic offerings. Desserts close the meal with equal conviction — reinterpretations such as the Banana Pie with galleta María crust and a Campechanas Cake with vanilla ice cream and cajeta complete what amounts to a full journey through the northern table.
