A New Chapter at Dior

2025 has proven an exceptional year for creative leadership changes across the great Houses of international fashion and luxury. After weeks of persistent rumor, the appointment the industry had been anticipating is now confirmed: Dior has a new Creative Director.

Following the departure of Maria Grazia Chiuri last week — after the Cruise 2026 show in Rome — the House has made it official: Jonathan Anderson will serve as its new Creative Director. Dior has announced that it “is delighted to welcome Jonathan Anderson, a visionary creator with a distinguished body of work, as Creative Director of the House’s womenswear, menswear, and haute couture collections.”

For the first time in the history of Christian Dior Couture — since Monsieur Dior himself — a single Creative Director will oversee all womenswear, menswear, and haute couture collections, further consolidating the House’s global creative vision.

Delphine Arnault, Chairman and CEO of Christian Dior Couture, stated: “I am delighted to welcome Jonathan Anderson to lead the House’s women’s and men’s creations. I have followed his career with great interest since he joined the LVMH group more than ten years ago. I am certain he will bring a creative and thoroughly modern vision to our House, inspired by the extraordinary legacy of Monsieur Dior and the codes he established. He will have the full support of our teams and our remarkable ateliers, who will bring his creativity to life.”

Jonathan Anderson is among the most significant creative talents of his generation. His singular artistic signature will be a decisive asset in writing the next chapter of the House of Dior’s history, noted Bernard Arnault, Chairman and CEO of LVMH.

Anderson himself has spoken of his enthusiasm for the appointment: “It is a tremendous honor to join the House of Dior as Creative Director of the women’s and men’s collections. I have always been inspired by this House’s rich history, its depth, and its humanity. I look forward to working alongside its legendary ateliers to create the next chapter of this remarkable story. I wish to express my sincere gratitude to Delphine Arnault and Bernard Arnault for their trust and loyalty over the years.”

Jonathan Anderson will present his first collection — Dior Men Summer 2026 — in Paris on June 27, 2025.
