Little is said about high-end helicopters, yet these compact titans of aviation are quietly redefining how executives, travelers, and aviation enthusiasts experience flight. In this landscape, the ACH160 has established itself as the preeminent choice — a machine that is reshaping private air transport. Backed by 68 patents, it stands as the most technologically advanced helicopter in the world.

Officially unveiled at Heli-Expo in Orlando, Florida, the ACH160 is the worthy successor to the storied Dauphin family. Meticulously engineered to deliver the highest standards of comfort and safety, it features the exclusive Helionix cockpit — home to the world’s first ground-assisted takeoff procedure. Its interface is intuitive and streamlined, meaningfully reducing pilot workload and minimizing the risk of human error.

The ACH160‘s performance is further elevated by the new Turbomeca Arrano engine, delivering 1,280 horsepower with a 15% improvement in fuel efficiency, lower maintenance costs, and a cruise speed that surpasses competing twin-engine helicopters. Its Blue Edge main rotor blades make it not only significantly quieter, but also considerably lighter on its environmental footprint — allowing passengers to fly in an environment that is both cleaner and more refined. With an endurance of four and a half hours and a range exceeding 778 kilometers, the ACH160 is mission-ready across a remarkable variety of operations, cementing its standing as a true champion of aviation.

Recognized as one of the most luxurious helicopters in the world, it is available in three configurations — Line, Line with Lounge package, and Exclusive — each fully adaptable to the preferences of its owner. With capacity for up to ten passengers, the cabin features leather seating, wood trim, and windows 35% larger than those of its competitors, flooding the interior with light and framing spectacular aerial vistas. The ACH160 is priced at approximately $15 million, with bespoke customization capable of raising that figure considerably.

The recent arrival of the Airbus ACH160 in the Latin American market marks a defining moment, firmly establishing Airbus Corporate Helicopters as the standard-bearer in high-end rotorcraft. With forward-thinking design, reliable technical support, and a maintenance program engineered for uninterrupted operations, Airbus continues to raise the bar for an entire industry.
