Luxury in the Clouds

In the rarified world of private aviation, where luxury and innovation converge, a new concept has emerged that redefines what it means to fly. Inspired by the experience of a high-end boutique hotel, Solrise is an interior design concept for the Boeing Business Jet 787-8 that transforms every flight into a fully immersive experience.
Created by designer Natalie Rodriguez, the interior of this jet — spanning more than 2,450 square feet — is conceived as a refuge of calm and sophistication. Earth tones, dark marbles, aged metals, and noble textiles combine to create an atmosphere that is at once serene and unmistakably contemporary. Circular forms on ceilings and lighting fixtures evoke the restorative energy of dawn, the concept’s defining inspiration.

At the heart of Solrise is its full-service coffee bar, which energizes passengers in the morning and transforms into a sophisticated cocktail bar by evening. This space — designed for conversation and pleasure — stands as one of the most inventive appointments in recent aeronautical design.

The central lounge, furnished with articulated residential-inspired armchairs, is designed for rest and contemplation. Lighting — the concept’s quiet protagonist — envelops every corner in a cinematic atmosphere. At the rear, the master suite offers a king-size bed, natural light, digital screens, and an interior wholly devoted to absolute rest.

Solrise is more than a private jet. It is a manifesto of contemporary design — one that transforms the sky into a habitable, artistic, and deeply human space.
