Maextro S800: Huawei Enters the Luxury Arena with a Fastback That Challenges Europe

Huawei has made an unexpected move into the most exclusive of territories: the ultra-luxury automobile. In partnership with JAC, the Chinese technology giant presents the Maextro S800, an electric sedan conceived to look Rolls-Royce and Maybach directly in the eye.
The S800 is not positioned as a technology exercise — it is a luxury statement. Its fastback silhouette, stretching nearly 5.5 meters, prioritizes presence over pace. Eight exterior color combinations and 21-inch wheels complete a profile that has no interest in going unnoticed.
Inside, the intention is unambiguous: cinematic comfort. Leather, wood, and glass coexist with displays that transform the dashboard into a digital theater. The rear cabin, however, is where the true declaration is made — zero-gravity seats, folding tables, a wine cooler, and a 40-inch screen that deploys as a privacy partition. Above it all, a starlit headliner that evokes the hand-craftsmanship of Goodwood.

Priced between $97,500 and $141,600, the S800 does not merely enter the global luxury conversation — it signals the opening of a chapter in which China is no longer content to imitate. It has come to compete.
