The Casa de México en España opens its doors to one of western Mexico’s most dynamic municipalities: Zapopan. The city arrives in Madrid with an agenda that brings together culture, gastronomy, urban development, and investment opportunities — a comprehensive portrait of a territory that has consolidated a genuine ecosystem of innovation and creativity.

The inauguration is led by Juan José Frangie, Municipal President of Zapopan, alongside Rosa María Sánchez, Director General of the Casa de México en España. Programming includes a masterclass by chef Óscar Segundo, artisanal exhibitions representative of Jalisco, the presence of the Centro Cultural Constitución, and the presentation of projects championed by the Consejo Municipal de Cultura.

The gathering serves as a strategic point of connection for strengthening professional and cultural ties between two key cities. Zapopan Week in Madrid has established itself as a forum for deepening the dialogue between Mexico and Spain — and for reaffirming the city’s growing role on the international stage.
